Mighter Freedom
Remote
Mighter Freedom Remote extends DVI (up to 1920 x 1200)
video, CD Quality Audio,
USB 2.0 (Keyboard, Mouse and Peripherals) and serial
over a network.
The new Mighter Freedom Remote unshackles financial
institutions from the physical barriers of the
traditional trading floor by offering a secure, hardware
and OS-independent, ultra high speed IP remote system
that will revolutionize dealing rooms and the way we
think about the trading room environment.
Freedom is a product aimed at lowering total operating
costs by reducing real estate requirements, streamlining
the trader desk configuration, cutting air conditioning
usage and minimizing actual hardware located at the desk
curtailing maintenance and facilities costs. By moving
the PC’s off of the trading floor into a secure, clean
air data center and implementing Freedoms “hot desking”
capabilities you also lower costs associated with Moves,
Adds and Change while offering a flexible and easily
adaptable work environment.
Utilizing standard protocols but using revolutionary new
chip and hardware technology, the Mighter Freedom Remote
allows banks to have a fully functioning trading room
with all PCs operating from a data center up to 50 miles
away from the main trading floor, with the system adding
less than a 10 millisecond time delay from start to
finish.
The Mighter Freedom Remote, which delivers unrivalled
speed, flexibility and can be used in one-to-one,
one-to-many and many-to-many configuration is the next
evolution in trading floor extenders.

Thin Client capabilities:
Unlike traditional KVM-over-IP solutions there is no
need for a PC at the desk end.
The unit uses IP networking. This gives great
flexibility and benefits with using this product, such
as multicast, routing, web technologies, to make trading
profiles easier to deploy and use.
DVI over Gigabit Ethernet:
Up to 1920x1200 DVI-I transmission – user configurable,
or auto detect
Up to 24-bit color – user configurable (8-bit, 16-bit,
24-bit – the more colors used the greater the bandwidth
used)
USB over Gigabit Ethernet:
USB 2.0 – support a variety of formats, including HID
(KB/M) and Mass storage for which its performance has
been optimized
Audio over Gigabit Ethernet:
CD Quality transparent end to end audio
44.1 KHZ, 16-bits per channel (2 channels)
Linear Encoding
Configurable as either Mic-in or Line-in at remote end
Two – way stereo audio for speakers and microphones.
Point to point, routable or multicast IPV4, IPV6
DDC emulation
UDP (not TCP)
All data captured, compared, compressed (and
encrypted...) in hardware. This approach will minimize
video latency and maximize video throughput
